MacOS installer Update
We’ve recently pushed some critical behind-the-scenes improvements to our macOS build pipeline. If you’ve been encountering “malware” warnings during installation, these updates are for you.
Verified Installation via Notarization Many users recently reported a security warning stating that Apple “cannot check Typstify for malicious software” when running our .pkg installer.
While our application has always been signed, macOS has become increasingly strict about the notarization of the installer “container” itself. We have updated our distribution workflow to ensure that the final .pkg file is fully scanned and notarized by Apple. This clears the Gatekeeper warning, allowing for a smooth, double-click installation experience without needing to bypass security prompts in System Settings.
